Lainey of the Cinneadh has her world decimated and everything she knew is cast in doubt when attacks and betrayal come from an unexpected source. As she battles to survive, she must come to terms with who she has been and who she wants to become.

About
Brian Shrout is a semi-professional magician and a teacher. He has been reading fantasy stories since he was very young. He began writing as a way to merge together his many interests. He is an active member of the Coffee House Writers Group – writers who share stories and provide one another with support and constructive critiques.
He has written two series of fantasy books written in our modern world: The Books of the Witches’ Fire and The Guardians of the Witches’ Fire. He has also written three stand-alone novels set within that world.
He is currently working on a trilogy set in the fictitious world of A’ Choille.
